Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
Nitrox Diver is a comprehensive course that focuses on the practical information a diver needs to know to use oxygen-enriched air. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content. Enjoy the benefits of longer bottom time and shorter surface intervals
SSI Nitrox Certification Course:
Upon successful completion of the course the diver will be competent to utilize Oxygen Enriched Air in open water diving activities. This is an excellent course to combine with Open Water or Advanced diver course.
Prerequisites:
Individual must be 15 years of age minimum and be Open Water Diver certified. In this course the student must complete all required home study work. A 2-3 hour academic course will be given, followed by 2 dives using EAN 32%.
Cost:
This class includes: Enriched Air Nitrox manual, dive tables, tanks and weights needed for 2 dives, certification and academic session. $4500NT ($150US) per diver. Additional cost of $1,000NT for 2-tank boat dive if desired.
Equipment rental for the course is $750NT ($25US) per day
