Orchid Island
Orchid island:
Is another island located South East of the major city Taitung. I only go there when the ferry is running from Kending to Orchid in the late spring and summer months. I think the visibility is better then Green Island. The island itself is somewhat remote and the facilities are limited. The island does not even have a 7/11 and that’s good.

Trip includes round trip ferry to/from Houbihou harbor in Kending, shared scooter for the entire trip, 2-tank boat dive each day and shared home stay each night. In my opinion it is not worth it to go for a weekend due to the long ferry ride.
